Image editing is evolving - fast. And at the forefront is FLUX.1 Kontext, an advanced AI model by Black Forest Labs that could make Photoshop feel like dial-up. Instead of manually dragging layers or applying filters, Kontext lets you edit images by simply typing what you want. Yup. Just text.
We took it for a spin using Cigardle, our daily cigar-themed trivia game, to test how far this tool can go - and spoiler alert - it’s a game-changer.

🧪 How We Used It on Cigardle
We used the FLUX.1 Kontext model via OpenArt to enhance the OG social sharing image for Cigardle.
Problem: The smoke trail in the image was supposed to look a bit brighter, but it wasn’t quite working.
Prompt: "Make the smoke form a more prominent question mark."
Result: Boom. Kontext edited the smoke in place without touching the rest of the design. No layers. No masks. No rebuild.

We’re experimenting with AI-generated visuals, trivia engines, and gamified engagement. The original image needed to reinforce the idea of mystery visually, and now the smoke makes that clear.
📣 What’s Next
This is the first of many integrations. Kontext opens up fast branding and ad creative iterations. Imagine real-time edits during live campaigns - without Photoshop in the mix.
